Susanna Blamire (1747 - 1794), poetess, was of good Cumberl& personal, and received a soubriquet of "The Muse of Cumberland." Her verse form, which were non collected until 1842, depict Cumbrian life & manners by using truth and vivacity. She too wrote a select few ticket songs in the Scottish idiom, including "Ye shall walk in Silk Attire," & "What ails this Heart o' Mine."
